Netbooks are a new type of laptop computers. They are designed for wireless communication and access to the internet. They are small in size, price, horsepower, and operating system. Despite being underpowered they are extremely popular with the younger generation because of the mobility. Netbooks can go anywhere. Although most generally have no optical disk drive, the application software is transferred over networks from USB devices. The most popular operating system is Windows XP, they also have built-in cameras and are Wi-Fi. The internet can be accessed using a mobile phone to communicate by bluetooth.
What is missing however is a optical drive and it also does not have any CD and DVD drives. And most Netbooks don't include bluetooth, and while they do have eternet and Wi-Fi, they don't have the fastest version of eternet known as gigabit. Most Netbooks also do not support 3G data network.
Netbooks are still very popular and may even make the Kindle into a dinosaur. Why carry a small box that only does on thing when you can carry a small box that does many things.

I really like netbooks but they need to have better internet support and it would be a great i could see myself getting one then.

ReplyDeleteI had this really nice touch screen small table book from Samsung last year before the netbook craze started and didn't like it. It was too small for me to use and it wasn't something that I enjoyed using. I just used it to go on the net (hence the netbook) but I could already easily do that on the iPhone so it was pointless to carry yet another piece of technology that does the same thing.

ReplyDeleteThis is another great product. I do not own one, but I would like to learn more about them. To me, this product is all about convenience and portability. People are will to pay the cost, as long as it makes their lives easier.
ReplyDeletethe netbook is an amazing product, the introduction of netbook has taken place with keeping this in mind, that at this point of time, portability feature of the product is overpowering the performance feature, this is what the market asks for

ReplyDeleteThey're small enough for convenience, but will have to prove themselves in this hi-tech market. Other electronic devices offer similar features and performance.
I'm starting to see everyone with netbooks. I've heard good and bad about them. It's gonna take more convincing for me to get one.
